What's so funny? Obviously you have never called i-cable "support." To call it 'customer service' is a joke and an insult to true service centres. Their connectivity is a disgraceful, often times it will drop for days at a time, and most people on their help desk can't speak English. Which begs the question, in an expat city like HK, where a huge percentage of the population speaks English, why would you staff your call centre with people that only speak Chinese?

Cantonese speaking friend, aye! I had my friend call them for me too after I got frustrated with attempting to deal with them, and by the time she got off the phone with them, she was just as disgusted with their lack of helpfulness.

Ah ah ah ! Well I had a problem with what was written on my contract and what they were actually asking me to pay... after many calls and faxes, my friend threatened them to go public with the issue and eventually take legal actions against them, they freaked out and the problem was solved immediately after. And yeah, their customer service is the worst I've ever had to deal with...

...Heh...

Did you fiddle with the security settings of your own computer lately. That or you have spywares that changed the settings for you?

I find it rather funny that people blame the ISP for site access. I bet the help center people can't answer your question because they are laughing too hard...

Yeah so sue me.

Thats a good point.

Download the Antispyware Beta from Microsoft and make sure your PC is clean.

Keep in mind that the Anti-Virus scanners do not pick up spyware.

Why all the hate ?

No I haven't changed any settings and I am running clean of spywares or viruses... I'm just trying to figure out why this particular site don't show anymore whereas all the other websites I visit on a daily basis are not affected...

Both my laptop and desk cpu are affected, and using a proxy server does show the website, that's why I thought of a problem with my ISP...

...or maybe the site itself exceeded its data quota?

To know if your ISP censors, just try logging on to some porn site.

I just sent an email to blogspot support... basically I can logon, modify my blog, add new posts but I cannot see the blog, it is the same if I want to read my friend's blogs on blogspot (or any blogs on blogspot for that matter)...

All the porn sites from google shows... all the news sites too, and even the CIA website...

With The everwatching Beijing I get kinda paranoid I guess... lol
