Have read through previous threads which have been somewhat helpful, but would appreciate some recent experiences from FF or Pure. Trying to decide whether I need/ want to spend the mega bucks - difference between the two is negilible right?

Anyone got any good membership deals in past month or so? Of course they say at Pure that the (12 mth) membership cost is non negotiable... is this true? Has anyone managed to get reduced? The 'deal' at the moment for pure yoga and hollywood rd is $999 joining fee and $899 mth.

I would use most of the gym facilitise, but would also like to take yoga classes - is the yoga at Pure Yoga 'super' good, or will FF provide a similar level?? Also need to consider pre/ postnatal classes.

Lastly Pilates - comments on pilates classes from either gym would be much appreciated.

I just joined up at Seasons in Citibank Plaza...paying 467 a month flat. Signed up for a 12 month contract. It's almost as good as FF, and it has a pool to boot

Pure fitness is at a higher level. I have membership at Seasons (running out in 2 months) and Pure. I have to say that Pure is simply much better. Seasons does have a more interesting crowd. It has some models and lots of gay men. If pricing is not an issue and you have another pool facility, then chose pure.

Was a member at Fitness First and now at Pure. They're both good gyms. Facilities are clean and well mantained, and the classes are good. I never understood why Fitness charges extra for towels. Price wise its not a big difference, that is if u sign up for 2 years at Pure.
