| Visa hunter Hi everyone, have been following this post for a long time without actually joining in...now i have to! coz my wife has just been transferred to work in Hong Kong by her big MNC on a work permit. She has also managed to sponsor me a dependent visa (I am a graduate with a MBA diploma and 5 years of work experience). now i want your advice: is it possible for me to go with her on dependent visa and then, once I get a job, switch to a working visa? Is that the done thing? or would i have to leave the country and re-enter? I have a few interested employers but nothing concrete as yet. I will have to move to HK physically and then make things happen. If anyone's experienced this scenario, i am all ears. |
