Central 88 vs. Peach Blossom Hey everyone I'll be in HK for a 5-month assignment in Oct and have been given a choice of Central 88 (in Central) or Peach Blossom (by Hanlun Habitats) at Mid-levels. The websites look impressive and they both don't seem to be very far from the office at Queen's Road Central. Unfortunately I won't be able to go down to check out the places beforehand, so if anyone's got any comments on either of the 2, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks! Emy

The only feedback I have is that this thread is related to Central 88. http://www.geoexpat.com/forum/thread...ts+rights.html

I lived at Central 88 for 3 months before moving into our apartment. Its a pretty nice place with a good breakfast layout every morning downstairs. The rooms are comfortable, although you begin to feel a little cramped for space after a couple months, but not that much. The great thing is that you are smack bang in central and close to the MTR and Soho. Theres also a good noodle bar next door.

I can only comment on the location - Peach Blossom (which is about 50m from where I live) is obviously a little way up the hill, but it is very well located within 75m of the mid-levels escalator which means that it is very quick and easy (and basically dry, which is important in the summer!) to get down the hill to Central and back up in the evening from Central or SoHo. There are plenty of facilities (restaurants, ATM, supermarkets, etc) within a couple of hundred metres.
