unusual case. please help

Hi,

I work for the USA office of a company head quartered in Honk Kong. Due to personal reasons I have to be out of USA for a while and plan to ask for temporary transfer to HK head office. What I need to know is will my spouse qualify for a dependant visa ??? and since I am in USA and she is in India would I have to first get my HK visa and then apply for my spouse or we both can apply simentaneously me from USA and she from India so that we can enter HK together.

Thank You.

Best Regards,
Anis

Would recommend you contact the Immigration Department at the Chinese Consulate nearest you.

http://www.immd.gov.hk/ehtml/embassy.htm

As far as I know they will not allow you to apply for your wife, given that she is not within their physical jurisdiction.

Your HK office might be able to apply for both of you at the same time.

Such issues are best dealt with by emailing the immd at enquiry@immd.gov.hk

Also, PLEASE stick a relevant topic in future threads. Most people will not bother opening a vague topic like "please help" (specially when you cant bother spelling please ...). Sorry .. had to rant at someone today.
