there's this Business of Design Week event in hk this whole week, including a free concert on Wed Dec 12 @ 1030pm featuring JIN (a famous asian rapper who won plenty of mc battles in the states), eugene pao, and some other performers (don't know the others, but looks ok). free booze, so, who cares?! also, that guy JIN will be at Pi (sorry, i don't have the address) on Fri Dec 14.

Happy New Year everyone!! Lots of gigs coming up in the first few months of 2008!! Woooohooooo!

There's no HKLIve! in March but there are Two Underground shows - 8th March & 15th March.

The David Bowie Knives are playing on 8th March (Underground 54) plus a bunch of other bands at Club Cixi. Sizzle!

The Yours are playing on 15th March (Underground 55) - one of the quirkiest and more interesting bands in HK. They've grace the stage at Rockit and are working on their 2nd CD. The Yours & 3 other bands play at The Cavern.

Then there's also the CUHK show on 9th March at Hitec with a bunch of brilliant heavy bands (Shepherds the Weak, 24 Herbs etc.) playing including a band from Guangzhou.

HK's original live music scene is bubbling nicely!

I finally made it to one Underground show last week. Enjoyed it a lot! should have gone earlier though. got to hear only the last two bands.
