3 month entertainment visa, extendable in 1 month increments up to a maximum of 6 months. But only valid for a single entry into HK, and you'd need to be under a contract with one of the agencies that brings "entertainers" in from Thailand. You'd then need to pay off the agency so that you didn't actually have to do any "entertaining". This wouldn't be cheap.

I really don't recommend that you go down this route, but it is an option.

Btw, you better ask your BF to check with the Thai Consulate if they will accept DH applications directly or does he need to go through an agency? Cos the Indonesian consulate only accepts applications from agencies and the agency fee is $15-25K and new DH's from the Phillipines also have to go thru an agency and they charge $3-4K.

just a thought. what if i go to hk (of course on a tourist visa) then be married to him. can i prolong my stay in hk since i'll be applying a dependant visa? or should i be back first to my home country after the marriage wait till the dependant visa is released then go back to hk? hows that?

based on cases i know, those with dh visas exit HK first (as formality) prior to start of dependency visa. sometimes they handle it on case-2-case basis.

but i think you have another option: come to hk with a trainee visa (6 months) in w/c case u need a company to prove they're willing to take you on as a trainee-whatever. no agency fee/no levy, less stigma...
