Validating visas - which is true? So hoory, we got my work visa and my husband's dependents visa. We have been planning to go to Macau to validate them but my husband went to his school (he is getting his MBA while here) to register and they told him that he could just go to the Immigration Office in Wan Chai because "students could leave and re-enter at the immigration office." He thinks what she was trying to say is you don't actually have to physically go anywhere; they just put the stamps on to make it official as if you did. They keep calling it a stamp but what we have are stickers. I think this doesn't sound right but can anyone shine any light onto this contradiction for me? Thanks in advance!

Easy -- email them at enquiry@immd.gov.hk and you'll get a very specific answer if you give them your visa number.

Will we get an immediate answer? I'll do it but unfortunately, we're under a time crunch and will try to get to Macau and back tonight if possible if what the school is saying isnt' true. He can't register until this is done.
