Unhappy I need chinese translator

I have family in HongKong but cannot speak english, where can I find a chinese translator once I arrive in HongKong. I'll be staying in the hotel and call them from there. I have no problem of communicating once we see each other, nodding each other will do just that.

I tried calling from USA but we just don't understand each other. I have their address where they live in mid-level area but I'm not sure if the guard of the building can speak english and doubt if he'll let me in. Any advice would be appreciated.

My chinese is not fantastic but if you provide more information as to the translation services you require I may be able to help you out.

If you just need help contacting your family I should be able to help.

Thank you Kaizuko, your an angel from heaven. Please help me to translate the message, " I'm here in HongKong to see you, please meet me at my hotel...

How can I contact you? I'm planning to come next month on the 15th. Right now I'm still working on which hotel I'm going to stay. That would be great if you can help me translate, I'll buy you a drink in Lan Kwai Fong.

LOL, I will still be here on the 15th so that's cool. Also my translation services are limited to speaking as my reading and writing skills are almost non existent. But if you want it as a written message that's I can ask my uncle as the message is only short anyway.

But what what you need translating I can say which isn't a problem.

I will PM you my email address and you can email me closer to the time if you still need help and then I will give you my HK mobile number so you can call me when you get here.

Does all that sound ok to you?

Hey thanks a lot, I just got your e-mail, I will email you once I arrive at the HK airport or once I settled at my hotel. I have a cell phone, hopefully will work there once I find a sim card. I don't know if you heard of motorola razr v3 cel phone and wonder if you know is going to work there.

A short phone call is fine, just let my dad know that I'm in town to visit him and if he'd like to meet somewhere or meet me at my hotel lobby. Thanks again and talk to you soon.
