I (am sure like many) keep track of new posts by looking at the new post icon in the forum main page. However, when there is a new post and I go in and read it, returning to the main forum page does not change the icon. I need to goto the forum once more for this to "reset" to no new post icon. Bug?? Feature??

Probably not, to be honest. We're in a frenzy over a couple of other sites and unless things fall apart, geoexpat code is frozen for the next month or so.

If you use Firefox (which everyone should) you can use the live bookmarks.. or use the latest posts link on the front page to see whats new since your last visit.

I do use Firefox, but I also use an RSS reader (bloglines.com) and didn't realise you had a feed - thanks for the heads-up - one less site to check manually

I use firefox as well. But instead of the RSS feed, I use the auto refreh every minute. Guess to RSS now.
