German, English & Thai Speaker Seeking a Job. IDEAS?

Dear all,

It is not me. (I wish) It is my friend whom can speak very fluently the above 3 languages. She has been working in Hotel Industry for all her life. Educated in Swiss Hotel Schools and been interning in Europe and Thailand and graduated a year ago and been working in Hong Kong ever since.

However, after a year, we found out that Hong Kong hotels aren't exactly the nicest employer we could wish for: extreme long working hours and very little pay. So I have been trying to help her to look for other jobs in other business sector, on jobsdb.com, on classifedpost.com, etc etc but without any success.

I guess it could be us keep searching for a job at the wrong place. So I am just wondering, if anyone here knows such a tri-lingual person should seek for her job? Any Head Hunter here? Or know one that cater especially for foreigners? Any ideas or suggestion would be sincerely appreciated. I know it would be great if she speak Chinese but she doesn't.

Hope to hear from some of you soon, getting a bit nervous as her contract, thus visa, would end in half a year. Thank you so much for listening.

KK

A number of people post on here with similar questions. The answer is always the same - the best (almost only!) way to get a job here is to come here and network.
