| | | Pearl Island not Pearl Garden It is Pearl Island not Pearl Garden. Too much to drink too.
Actually, I ended up taking a cab from Sham Tseng to the place which costed me some hundred dollars but I did see some minibuses running around along the way (some 9xx numbers).
I did use the YPmap before. It helped. Searching for the minibuses in NT is definitely not a single-minded task, IMHO. Actually, I took some minibus numbers in Yuen Long not even documented on the YPmap.

| | | Night Bus Pocket Route Map? The YP website is helpful but what I am really looking for is a (night) bus route map to take with me when I'm out at night. One doesn't always know where one ends up on a night out and thus, having a map, which shows bus stations and bus numbers of Kowloon/Northern HK Island bus routes including Cross-Harbour services would be a nice-to-have. Does anyone know where to get one? | |

Some supermarkets also carry them. In that you'll get detailed maps of different areas as well as transport guides regarding MTR/KCR lines and stations/exits, Ferry AND Bus routes and stops, with corresponding fares.

There is no "night bus" that runs from Central or Wanchai to Sai Ying Poon / Kennedy Town. The latest a regular commuter bus runs from Wanchai (Causeway Bay to be exact) is until 2:30am for bus route no. 5B from Citybus.
The only 'night-buses' are the regular red-topped minibuses that run regularly for 24 hours along Hennessy Road in Wanchai and on Queen's Road in Central to Kennedy Town. They'll usually have signs at the front (at the top) that say "Sai Wan" or "Kennedy Town".

| | | Thanks, Max. Will take a look at that booklet. This bus system continues to confuse me. | |

| | | Problem with a lot of the bus websites is that they only tell you where they start and stop, and where the bus stops are with the nearest street or whatever... ie there's no route map, just a description. Makes it very hard for people like me that have no idea where half of these suburbs / streets even are to start with! | |

The other thing that I find confusing is that there are several different companies and I don't want to surf three websites before boarding a bloody bus! | | Tools | Search | | | | | Rate This Thread | | | All times are GMT +8.
