Advice re-flight from UK to HK for 12 months

Hi anyone...
Am feeling a tad stressed!
I need to purchase a flight from Manchester, UK to HK leaving around 18th-20th Aug 05 and to return to Man, UK July (or at the end of School!!) 06..dates around july 18th..??
I am struggling to get open return ticket or a ticket for the end of School
Anyone familiar with any particular Travel Companies??
Thanks a bunch

Try Zuji.Com .. they've managed to find tickets when travel agents have failed.

I have had good luck with

http://www.aerohkg.com/

But with such a long time between return, you'll find some of the sales won't apply.

p.s. if there is any way you can leave after Sept 1 (i.e. post-peak travel time) you can save several hundred. Airfares switch over to a post-Summer schedule on Sept. 1

Just did a quick check on opodo.co.uk, MAN to HKG 18/08/05 to 18/07/06 works out at around £780 on Cathay Pacific. That's not a flexable ticket but seems reasonable for the time of year, it'll cost you something like double that via Cathay's own website.

I saw a few complaints against the company Travel Expert. They are cheaters. I don't recommend this company. Wing On is a more established company. Or try zuji.com.hk or priceline.com.hk.

Believe it or not, i've just managed to get a really good ticket from www.travelbag.co.uk for the same kinda dates (semester dates at HKU). They do a return for about £500 which is as cheap as is going to come booking this late, and also allow long stop overs so for just a little more you could go somewhere else for xmas etc...
