Chinese restaurant with glass enclaves

A friend from Canada told me of a Chinese restaurant with all tables separated from each other by glass that goes up about almost all the way to the ceiling. This is a contemporary looking restaurant offering excellent Chinese cuisine. Unfortunately, my friend does not remember whether it is located at the HK side, Kln or NT. Can someone help? Thanx. Sarrais

Felix ?

Hi there Sarrais,

There are a few restaurants in HK with a "wow" factor, and one of them has to be Felix. Perhaps this is it ?

I recently dined at Felix and I have to say the view is pretty spectacular. Although having been rated as one of the Top 50 restaurants in the world and the best (and only) from Asia, I have to say the reviews are overrated. The food is above average (not spectacular) and so is the service. You really have to see the view and the light show for yourself. Oh yeah, for us men, the "peeing experience" was well worth it ! How many time in your life time do you get to pee exhibitionist style in front of the entire Kwoloon population ?

Sarrais - the Chinese restaurant you're referring to is probably called Hutong at #1 Peking Road in TST. The same building where Aqua is and the same sensational view

I don't recal Hutong having glass dividing screens (although I wasn't sittting at the edge), the whole place is more rustic than that.

This is bad .. does your friend remember anything other than glass walls? Was it even a chinese retaurant? (Assuming they know what a chinese restaurant is .. not just a restaurant in "Hong Kong China")

Thanx for all your input. KnowItAll, you are right about whether the place my friend went was even a Chinese rest. I checked back with her and was told that she was not sure but she did remember the green martini-looking glasses :-). However, she thinks the restaurant's name sounded something like "Anoo" or "Hanoo" but you need to remember that my friend is a White Canadian who does not know any Chinese so the pronunciation might likely be somewhat off. In any event, I really want to find this restaurant and any leads will be much appreciated
