Hair cuts
Do any of you guys know of a good western hairdresser. I have had my hair cut so many times by different Chinese hairdressers but they never seem to get it right... I guess they don't know how to handle western hair...

For straight forward haircuts I recommend

Barber Shop The
15B Wellington St
Tel: 2537 4292

(Right next to the Starbucks on Wellington Street in Lan Kwai Fong / Central and opposite Yun Kee -- the entrance is through the side street -- look for the rotating babershop sign)

Also the Mandarin Hotel Babershop is absolutely ok for a regular haircut.

About $200-220ish.

Rest of the places get fancier .. The Firm etc ..

Also have not had a problem with the hair dressers a block up from Queens Road East right below the Escalator .. in between Queens Road and Wellington Street.

Does this still hold KnowItAll? Not sure if you're still subscribed to this so I'll shoot you a PM as well. Maybe you can see that I have fairly short hair but no shave etc. I do not want to look like a dork for 4-6 weeks so I am not chancin' it (too short has happened some times due to language differences...).

Hey Nik, I still go there ... good haircuts, the same staff that has been around since day 1 and they all speak excellent english, and the added bonus is that I can catch up on my favorite magazine - T3.

KnowItAll, any idea of their opening hours? I'll probably go there now but maybe it's late for a Friday? Tried calling but go to their answering machine.
