Smile Indian resturants - Carrot Halwa/Kajar Halwa

Ok this maybe a long shot but if anyone knows any great Indian restaurants, am hoping you know this dessert or have tried it.
I am craving it! but can't seem to find anywhere that does it.
Anyone?

In Mid Level right?

Both Jashan and Bombay Dreams on Hollywood Road would have top notch Gajar Halwa.

Janewiches, unfortunately, most of the Indian restaurants do not serve "home cooked" meals (what I'd consider authentic).

I do like the fare at Jashan. Good service, good food and reasonable prices.

I also like the "Curry Buffet" at the Dickens in the Excelsior on weekdays.

For "Bombay Food" .. try Brantos in TST (7 Lock Road if I recall correctly, next to the Hyatt Regency Hotel...). Good stuff for those who have experienced Bombay style fast food.

Gajar Halwa

Dear adorable.

If you like Gajar halwa then the best one around has got to be in "Tandoor Restaurant" located on Lyndhurst Terrace. Just look for the big "Tandoor" board on the street.

They make a lot of good indian dishes and sweets. The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated and I would say it is one of the upper class indian establishments.

Cheers
Harry
