My advice would be to stop feeling sorry for yourself...it's only hard if you mope around in a negative frame of mind, get out and sit in some bars or something and you will meet people. Crikey, there's 7 million people there....you're hardly out in the sticks. I'm not there yet, but there must be lots to see and do in HK. All the best.

It will be easy, as long as you have the right attitude you can adapt anywhere. Moping around is no good to man nor beast. As I say in HK there are 7m people and so many things to do.
