I have heard that almost all rental apartments in HK come with a fridge and washing machine.

Can someone verify that this is true?

mine didn't but the flat's rent is well-cheap and nice!!...

to the point, guess you have to consider how much you are willing to pay for a flat's rent...furnished will be more expensive.

just moved to yuen long...one bedroom unfurnished flats starting from $2000...two bedroom unfurnished flats starting from $3000...got buses and kcr going all directions...takes about 30-40 mins to get to central...yuen long's got everything from the smelly markets to nice posh restaurants...cheaper too!!..well, i'm loving it at the mo..

you can go further down to kamtin if you like the village-typed houses with bigger spaces...not good transportation though...

let me know if you want the agents' numbers..
