I was checking out this place....

It sounds nice. the website makes it look and sound great.
i was contacted by the hotel, and they said a deluxe suite would only be about 6K/month.....

I was just wondering if anyone has been there before?

if so:

is it safe area?
is it nice there?
is it a bad commute to Tsim Sha Tsui?
how long of a commute?
what are the views like?
are the rooms nice?
what's around the area as far as shopping and restaurants and activities and cinemas?
is it an expensive posh-type area? or is it relatively mid-low cheap stuff?

does anyone else know of similar apartments to these...but closer?

Where can I find pictures of rental units in HK (in moving to HK)

I live at the harbour plaza and answered most of those questions in the posting.

We love it here; we have a top floor one bed roomed suit with a view to the park and hills. The hotel has a shuttle bus to TST it takes about 35/40 minutes. The accommodation itself is very good and the staff are extremely efficient and any problems are dealt with immediately.

I went to this place to check out their service apartments before. It is quite far away from the main part of the city.

It took me more than 1 hour to get there using public transportation - MTR-KCR West Rail-Light Rail from TST. You have to catch the KCR West Rail near Mei Foo or Nam Cheong MTR station if I remember correctly. And, at the end of the KCR West, you have to catch the light rail. After that, I decided to stay in the Panda Hotel (Tsuen Wan) service apartment instead. Tsuen Wan has a direct MTR link to Central.

They did have the $6K per month during the off season. The unit is quite nice but just too far away for me. But, if they have the wifi connection on the KCR West Rail, it may make the difference.
