Can someone tell me any information on the steps in hong kong to get married. Some one told me we have to apply for the license which takes four months is this right?

A google search will yield a better answer...

First, you need to file a notice of intent to marry at one of the registration offices. Bring your passport and HKID card. This notice must be filed at least 18 or so days before you actually get married, in order for anyone opposed to object. There is a fee to do this.

Then, you have to arrange a date to have the civil ceremony performed. There is a a fee for this as well. You need two witnesses at your civil ceremony.
