A few weeks back I saw a thread in which someone advertised an auction site called streetmarket.hk Well, I registered thinking it would grow and become a useful source but yesterday noticed that the website seems to be down or dead. Any ideas?

*Sigh* seen so many of these come and go .. dont' know why people continue to bother with the "dot com idea of the day".

I'd thought those guys had potential .. considering the person who set it up is a member here who insisted on being clever.

Just thought you should know I wasn't intending to link to the site and only typed in the url because it was dead and was hoping someone had an updated one.

Streetmarket dropped out a few weeks ago. Dunno why, seemed quite a nicely designed site, although a few bugs on it. Shame really, would be nice to have the equivalent of e-bay here - in english!!

Agreed. I find red dots to be a good source. Made a number of transactions and only ever had one go sour; nothing lost just a no show.
