this thread has made me laugh. I miss my english mates too much every time im in hongkong. Their sense of humour is different and I can relate more to them they can drink like fish and i have so much fun with them. so thats why I want to meet ex pats. Otherwise I'll get homesick.
Once again if anyone cool wants to meet up and get bladdered in LKF or soho give me a shout as I am getting desperate for a social life out here!

I'm from the midlands, Leicester and I'm desperate to meet other ex pats here in HongKong. It would be great to have a English gathering sometime as I miss friends with a sarcastic sense of humour. most chinese people dont understand sarcasm and english wit.
