Cat food and DVDs

Two random and non-related questions:
-- does anyone know somewhere near western midlevels where I can find Iams cat food? A friend sent me a website where I can order it but am hoping to find a store close by that will carry it. I've seen Eukanuba but our cats don't digest that well.

-- any idea if the DVDs I bring from the US will work on a DVD play we buy in Hong Kong? We love our movies and hope to be able to watch after our move.

Thanks a ton. You guys are all fantastic!

I'll go out on a limb and say that ANY dvd player you buy in HK will be set to be region/code free by the retailer.

I think it depends on your US DVDs. So if your US DVDs are multi-region and you buy a multi-region DVD player then you should be ok.

I've seen one in Wanchai area close to the wet market they sell dog and cat food, I saw Iams food but not sure if it was for cat. I went there to buy food for Shogun, my dog.

Actually code-free dvd's will play in all dvd players, region-free or not. Buy multi-region dvd players (dime a dozen in HK) will play all dvd's, coded or not.

for cat food, I suggest
http://redcarrot.com.hk
http://megapet.com.hk/
,both company do free delivery for $300 HKD more total purchase.

and for cat litter, I have been using something new called, SWHEET SCOOP, 100% natural wheet , no clay, good clumping and no odour.
1 have 4 cats, VALUE for money, but bit more expensive, worth it, try the 14pound size.

Though it may be a bit out of your way....try going to kowloon, specifically Victory Avenue in the Yau Ma Tei/Mong Kok area. The street is lined with pet shops and pet supplies shops. You'll find what you need there.

There are a couple of pet shops on Bonham/Caine Road that deal with Iams and Eukanuba...again, I don't know the specifics, I don't have a pet here
