Part-time job and Visa questions

Hello,
I'm a young French born Asian.
I have just had an interview with the director of a HKMA college and wanna hire me for a French teaching position.

There is one problem : He told me that he cannot hire me as a full-time teacher if I don't get a university degree (actually, I got the baccalaureat who is only equivalent to the form 7).
He told me the best thing that can happen to me is to be hired as a part-time teacher.
My question is : Is he right ? can the visa application work for a part-time job ?

My second question is : can I apply easily for another job unrelative with the purpose of education after getting the first visa (if possible for a part-time job) ?

Thank you for your help !

in answer to both of your questions....no
1)you cannot get a working visa for a part time job (and it is highly unlikely that you will be given a visa without any uni qualifications)
2)you can only work for the company that sponsors your visa and no others.

sorry

Carang is incorrect. I was hired on a part-time basis for a teaching position at a language centre but not a school. (although I do have uni qualifications). Obviously qualifications play an important part when applying for a working visa but if you are a French native speaker, teaching French - I would say that this helps. Are your employers willing to sponsor your working visa application?

As to your second question, I was also working 2 part-time jobs. As long as you obtain written permission from the employer that sponsors your working application, this is possible.

Good luck.
