We are moving to HK in September. Ive been reading a few books and they say that the climate there is not good for upholstered furniture..weve got a leather sofa which we want to bring over. Is this true?

If you have a dehumidifier, you should be okay!

Humidity and dampness can make things mouldy. As Baron said dehumidifiers should help solve this.

I've had problems with clothes, particularly leather shoes, but never really noticed any mould on my leather sofa. I doubt that it will be a problem.
