| I am coming from Canada for 2 months July 8-Sept.10 and am looking for a place. I am an easy keeper and try my best to keep it down. passed housekeeping 101 with honors. Is this still available? |

I've lived there and still like it but for daily commuting I found it a chore. I don't party as much as I used to either but it only takes a few late evenings to make you regret the decision to live on an outlying island - 24 hour ferries or not. If you want to retain your expat-western lifestyle in your home then sure DB is the place I would choose over over-priced Stanley or worse. Otherwise there are plenty of choices and I personally would choose somewhere within 30 minutes commuting time. Something to remember is that shopping is limited in DB; one supermarket (P 'n S), no post office, one bank (HSBC), one department store (a mini Wing On) etc. I am ready to be corrected if I am not up to date with this information. |
