people play in wanchai all year round...southorn playground. u can always get in on a game there...they got tournaments n shit sometimes too.

Your post caught my attention - there have been quite a few internationals mixing it up on the courts back home here in AU, and they're pretty damn good too ... I'm going to be in HK in Jul & Aug and would like to shoot some hoops (around TST?) - oh yeah, also I'd phhhhhhhreak out if anyone could tell me where I can get legit/not-so legit Jordan XX, or Jordan XIII!!!

HK has plenty of sports centres spread about the city. Once you get here and start meeting people, it's usually pretty easy to find a regular game in an indoor, air-conditioned court. And believe me, in the summer, you'll be glad for the aircon. With at least 10 people, the cost usually runs around 40HK.

i am in desperate need of some ballin' action asap. are the players in wan chai usually accepting of women? are there any women's leagues or co-ed leagues around hong kong? how is one to join a sports club and get in on some games? where would you suggest i play as i am a girl and i'm afraid that some people would not enjoy me on their team...

yo dchp0! ey man would really like to ball with you but i'm not gonna be in hk when your there. But you can cop the Jordan XX and 13 online here's a good site. www.pickyourshoes.com, go to the Jordan section. Are you wearing these to play ball in?? If your looking for a basketball shoe get the Huarache 2k5's, I just picked them up, they are the best shoes i've ever played in hands down.
