Local living - how to find the right apartment? I will move to Hong Kong in September and would like to rent a small apartment (1 bedroom, kitchen, shower), no Expat standard needed, local living prefered, in Pok Fu Lam or around, budget 4000 HK Dollar all incl. Is it to realize in HK? Looking forward to your kind reply and some good advice.

I don't think you can find $4000 rental apartment in Pok Fu Lam. Try Kennedy Town or Sheung Wan.

You should definitely find something for your budget in Sheung Wan. Do check apartments carefullly though, a friend of ours has a small, cheap apartment there but the landlord refuses to install air-con. You will need air-con! jaykay
