Thumbs up Looking for some foreign nationality respondents - $700 honorarium

Looking for some foreign nationality respondents

We are currently undertaking a research study on behalf of a well-known electronics products manufacturer. The main objective of this study is to understand the upcoming products in personal life style and expectation.

Now we are looking for someone who is interested to participate in a special product experience test. We would like to show to the respondent a completely new electronics product, not yet released in the market. They will be asking to test the ease of setting up and use of product.
These types of interviews are usually quite enjoyable and give participants an opportunity to give input into the development and marketing of new products and services. Findings from this study will help our client work out plans to give better serve for their customers.
The survey is in a form of face-to-face interview, carrying out in accordance with the MRS code of conduct. All issues discussed in the interview are treating with complete confidentiality. The information gathered will remain confidential and be use for research purposes only.

Below are the respondent criteria:
1. People of European / American passport holder
2. Respondents or any member of their household is not working for advertising agency /public relations firm / marketing research firm / company or store that designs, manufactures distributes or sells consumer electronic devices
3. There’s no requirement on their gender, but age should be between 18-28
4. Working in full time, part time or student
5. Owners of mobile phone
6. Interested in and currently using any audio devices

The interview will last about 1.5 hours at Shatin “Science Park”. There will be an honorarium valued at HK$700 to thank you for respondents’ time.

We will ask a few screening questions to ensure each participant is eligible for this research. We will then schedule a time for eligible participants to pickup headphones and detailed information at our office.

Interested parties, please pm me, thanks!

This should be alright I guess...

It is absolutely common to give away an incentive ( in this case HK$ 700 in cash) for an 1.5 hours survey / interview.
Otherwise they wouldn't find anybody taking part in such a market research study.
Since it is impossible to reach the customer-requested response rates, it is an open secret (at least in Europe) that about 50% of all conducted interviews are faked.
But a few interviews always have to be done in real... :-)

Nevermind, 700HK$ - quite nice for spending two or three nice hours in LKF... ;-)

Yepp, Thats true.. My wife has been working with some of the top market research company in HK. She has done thousands of interview and handed out hundreds of cash tokens for specific projects..
Well based on her experience, 50% fake is a bit exaggerated number at least in HK..:-)

Actually, I'm a recruiter for the research company. If you're interested to the survey, please kindly pm me, I'll send you my mobile no. for a talk (even my english is not good).

The survey will be started from today until Dec 2005. The age range is 18-23 and 22 vacancies are available now.

I think $700 honorarium is not too high because Science Park is far away. Once your appointment is confirmed, the survey company will send you a map both in Chinese and Englsih.
