dehumidifiers for cupboards Any suggestions for avoiding getting clothes stale? Dehumdifiers maybe, are there mini ones? Anything that takes away to smell, which gets into clean clothes in a few days after washing in the cupboard... What does one do for winter clothes packing...do we need to put any products inside them, when putting them in cupboards. Thanks!

Dehumidifier containers are very popular here and can be found in every supermarket and other shops like "Japan Home". They contain chemical pallets which absorb the moisture from the air. They are small and can be placed everywhere you like.

Dehumidifiers I just bought some of those boxes at Park N Shop, they are very inexpensive (HK$6.90); alternatively, Wing-On sells electric ones for walk-in closets (look like a long neon light bulb) for around HK$200.

I've got 2 of those electric type that I moved with me and now too lazy to screw them into the new place. If you are interested at $200 for both, let me know.

Chemical pellet ones need to be watched - they fill up with water relatively quickly - and water + chemicals make a real mess if they topple over. Low wattage tubular heaters seem to be the "Best Bet" for clothes cupboards. Or leave the doors open occasionally in a room equipped with a dehumidifier - switched on of course. <Grin>.
