Domain purchase in Hong Kong / Hosting

Hello All,
again I seek for your advice:

(1.) Have anybody expirience in buying an already registered domain name in .hk area? What is the usual procedure of payment and domain transfer?
(2.)Which hosting in HK is the most trustable/fast/good in services?

Can be a nightmare. We've used sedo.com for purchases. The HKDNR has some pretty bizzare procedures. You might need to use a decent escrow service unless you know the person involved.

I've heard good things about toughdomains.com from some bloggers and we have a hosting provider on our forums (forget the domain.. promotionhosting or something like that). Both of them host / resell US based services if I recall correctly.

We generally host inhouse or at ev1servers.net. Shared hosting generally sucks and there isnt much critical mass here in Hong Kong to justify state of art facilities and big transpacific pipes required for large sites.

Thanks KnowItAll,
the seller wrote me that she's ready to come to the HKNIC to submit the transfer agreement there at the moment of submitting she wants to have the money. Is it okay?
