| Kwai Chung? Hi all, will be moving to HK end of June. My flat will be in Kwai Chung(Kwai Luen Road). Is that a nice area to live? …and how is the public transport to HK-Island there? ..the office is at Central By the way, a great site this forum, learned already a lot about HK Thomas |

| hello.. kwai chung is quite far from the hk island.. but i think the rent is quite cheap there... its the industrial & residential area... the main transportation to central is subway.. called the MTR.. usually takes 30-40 min.. |

| kwai chung isn't a nice area to live, it is full of industrial buildings and public housing buidlings. |

| Kwai Luen Road It is not the best part of HK to live in and you will not find tons of expats there but its OK. I have several Austrian friends living in this area and they like it. They work in the area so its very convenient. If you have a choice you should consider other parts of Kowloon. Good Luck |
