Buying a flat :Need Suggestion

Hi All,

A big Hello to everyone as this is my first thread on GeoExpat.

I am planning to buy a 3 bedroom flat. right now we live inPokfulam, area is quite even though its on HK island, but buildings are a bit old.

I am open to move to Kowloon/NT (convenient areas ). I am not expecting very quite areas but yes decent ones. Most of the new developments are coming in Kowloon/ NT areas.

Got chance to look in Tsuen wan, the new Dynasty, Vision City (good), Cliveden, cairn Hill.
Please no offense to anyone.Please......
But tsuen Wan seems to be very crowded as I got to take a mini bus in the evening. Whole area was too crowded near the mini bus stand.

Please share your views about Tsuen Wan, its convenience to Central (work place), the above buildings.

Also, do suggest someother districts in a range of 4-5 M for 3 bedroom flats.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Sterling for the reply.

I might consider Tung Chung and gold coast but have been reading reviews. Are they really too inconvenient places ?

Not sure though.

I live in the Gold Coast and do not consider it to be inconvenient at all, but then I work from home some days and am not a great clubber or drinker so rarely want to stay out late in LKF etc. If you like space, greenery and fewer crowds, GC is great. If not, well, not.

Really depends on what you do during the 30 minute MTR ride to / from Central. Or where the children go to school? otherwise, it's a good value.

Tung Chung Coastal Skyline near MTR station, very convenience. Tung Chung Caribbean Coast have shuttle to/from Tsimshatsui and Central. Also very convenience. This two estate is a good and comfortable place for living.

Thanks Guys for the info

This weekend, I went to China chem's Kowloon city Le Billionaire project. It doesnt seem value for money.

I will look for Gold coast and Tung Chung in following weekends.

Again, how about Tsuen Wan, I have been to Vision City and liked the estate a lot but the surrounding is too crowded. I know the place is too convenient but is it really too noisy and crowded.
Ppl who live plz suggest about Tsuen Wan too.

I liked The CairnHill on Route Twisk, Tsuen Wan Midlevels too. Its a quite area and amazing beauty...
but gaian definitely like to know abut your ideas, views on Tsuen Wan before making up my mind.

Tsuen Wan is pretty convenient as you probably know.
It's crowded in the old area, but if you live up on the hill or live near West Rail station, I don't think it's too bad.
I am sorry it's not really that useful.
