Where can I find American comic books?

Are there any stores that sell American comic books or even manga that's translated into English? I don't know enough Chinese to feel comfortable buying Chinese or Chinese-translated comic books/manga. Thanks!

Hi, there are 2 or 3 American comic book stores in Causeway Bay Shopping Centre on Sugar Street. Hope this helps.

The Am,erican magazine shop in Fenwick Pier or PageOne(BookOne?) in Times Square or wherever else they have branches. It's the best bookshop by faaaar in HK- browsing the design books alone is a couple of hours of any day gone!

There used to be one at basement level of Sino Center on Nathan Rd, Mongkok... (that one with a lot of pirated anime or porno DVDs)... Tho last time I went was aaaaages ago. Not sure if it's still there.

It's on the same alley but opposite Animate...

I actually found Clarks Comics along with Metro Comics today. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. It seems as if the trades (what little they have) are actually more expensive here than what I can get in the States. This may actually push me into collecting monthlies for a while.

Unless you are really into the first printings, just go to Amazon.com to buy all your graphic novels.

I order 2-3 times a year from Amazon.com and each time I load up 10-15 graphic novels.

Any good reads lately? I'm going Y, but it's slowly becoming Y 90210 and starting to stink.

I read Justice which was horrible.

Surprisingly, Supreme Power, was one of the best reads I've had in a long time, but I also thought Stracynski was a superb story teller.

Gatts will become famous soon enough
I have to say that i find English-language Comic book shops here much more cheaper then Amazon, and they have all the first printings, TPB's, graphic novels etc, even more stuff then Amazon can offer. I visit Metro Comics in Sugar Street (Shop 112, Causeway Bay shopping centre) quite regularly, pretty good service there. I'd imagine that Clark's comics in the same building (basement) would be equally good.

Anyway, Apart from Y, checkout "Fables" also from DC/Vertigo, instant classic.
