Local Moving

Hello,

I would like to move some very, too big furniture and washing machine out of my place (not working) and also move some from local places (from the classifieds ads)
one of the idea was to cut the furniture because it is very very big, and it is not some ikea easy to build stuff, more kind of giant heavy peace of wood

so do someone knows
where can i let all this huge useless stuff
who can help me, and what will be the price (cos i am not superwoman and i live at the 4th floor without elevator)
how can i bring home small furniture from places very near my place

Thank you !

Not sure where in Hk you are located but I recommend getting some Indians or Pakistanys for the job. They usually loiter around behing Chungking mansions in TST. They don't charge too much and do a good job.

Umm.. rather than go around Chungking asking every dodgy looking south asian, I would recommend looking at the weekend SCMP classifieds where people advertise their second hand products for sale.

You'll find a several filipino and indian movers in there -- advertising that they will move stuff starting at $200.

Slightly better chances of finding a legitimate mover .. than trolling around the mansions.
