Renting an apartment in HK island I'm looking for an apartment/room for two on HK Island, preferably around Kennedy Town, Causeway Bay or Sheung Wan. I've come across several furnished apartments for about 5k, but I'm not sure which buildings are "good". Any suggestions? Photos are always decieving. Also, do these places (that I found on gohome.com.hk) rent for just three months? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Oh, I'm going to work in Central, and my friend is going to work on Kowloon near Kwun Tong.. So any other areas appropriate would be okay too. Thanks!

I think if you are only looking for something for 3 months, a serviced appartment may be a better bet. Not sure if you will get a proper appartment for a short term lease under 6 months? Also Watsons have a cream that may clear up your 'problem' !!!

Sigh.. but serviced apartments are horrendously expensive! i'm only a university student on an internship & i don't really want to blow my entire intern's pay on rent.
