Hi,

I was shortlisted for a level 1 application support role for a US bank in Hong Kong. When I applied, the job advertisement just mentioned that candidates should have prior experience in an application support role but did not specify the number of years of experience required.

I've done application support in the past (for about 3-4 years) but it was in the IT industry (for a manufacturing giant).

I would like to know the approximate salary range of an application support analyst in the financial services industry in Hong Kong. I guess the difference is that I have to quickly learn and adapt to banking technology if I am successful with the interview.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

You're currently looking at in the region of 22k to 25k per month as a ballpark figure for those kinds of roles
