From the looks of it, atleast we know that the moderator will be impartial and someone who has absolutely nothing riding on the outcome of the elections.

I too think expectations are running so low for Palin that all she has to do is turn up and stay on message and she'll be viewed by her folks as terrific. If she can't get the key messages down over the past few days, I'd be shocked. Even Bush Jr. was able to learn the message box system his first time out.

I also agree that Biden has to take care and not state the obvious and start slamming her or putting her down. He has been debating with a female governor (forgot the name/state) and no doubt is being well coached not to get tough.

Yes, she debated in Alaska but the issues are vastly different as are the politics there. She had a few good issues and just hammered them over and over and won. This is huge now as all eyes are on her and likely will exceed in viewer totals, the numbers that watched the Presidential debate.
