Aren't a lot of the oranges sold here from the US? I had some good ones from Park and Shop several months ago, but it isn't really orange season in the US right now I suspect.

oranges here are actually pretty good. You can try getting some of the local ones and the small ones (the tangerines)

Tell me about it. Either they've been brused like they were used in a fight club remake, or their hard as a rock.. of course, being soft leads to brusing. I've never seen so many damaged fruit in my life so far until now, poor fruit.

it makes orange shopping difficult. There do seem to be certain stores that care a great deal about their undamaged fruit, or they're simply not available.

I buy large oranges, and so far Park'N'Shop in Kennedy Town and Cyberport often have the four bundled large oranges that are always just about right.
