Now TV - getting through to a human

Hi

Crisis - kids have planked the remote somewhere and I cant find it anywhere. Tried phoning NOW but I have no idea what my account number is so it just keeps telling me invalid entry and wont let me past the menu to speak to a human. Anyone know any tricks to get through so I can order a replacement

Much appreciated

NelsonBlue is on a distinguished road
I am not sure about the voice recognition automated phone systems here, but in the US the trick was to say 'help' or 'customer service' or 'talk with someone' (despite not being given that option at the menu.)

Good luck!

Hmm, I doubt even if you get through to a human at PCCW Now TV, because unless you have either your account number or your HK ID listed on their customer database, they have no way of proving who you are.

Your Now TV customer account # will be attached to the online bills that they email every month to you, via now TV "Your Latest Bill " link.

The other way is to visit here . Welcome to now-tv.com click on My Account and then click Check Bill...

Providing you can remember what your Netvigator Email address is, and login password, you will be able to retrieve the last bill, with your 10 digit account number listed.

Good luck

Just hit the combo it takes to add a new channel or speak to sales. Gets you a human as far I can recal.

i usually go for the "technical support" and let it run a test on the system... eventually, they transfer you to a real person... if needed, they can also then pass you onto someone from customer service.

You can enter your HK ID # instead. I'm assuming you haven't lost that.

Also if you just pretend you want to cancel your account (one of the last options on the system) they send you directly to a person. He'll be happy that you aren't really cancelling.

That works fine Carang, when you know your account number details, prior to you even getting to that stage....They always ask you to enter your account number prior to getting technical support.

The OP doesn't know his/her Now TV account Number details. Which makes the already tedious NOW TV automated system, all the more difficult...

When you call Now TV, it actually asks you to "please input " your HK ID number or your 10 digit account number.

I assume that the OP has "inputted" their HK ID's already, and no cigar....

My account number is my HKID - I think that is their default - have you tried putting that in? I find them to be horrendous for customer service though.t

you input the HKID # of the person whose name it is in... so if your own number didn't work, try your significant other's number...

as you stated you didn't know your acct #, then try the HKID...

Success

Thanks to all - I eventually got through to a human after asking for technical advice. He was very helfpul and found my details from
the original install number eventually. The company had organised all this and so I didnt have any details at all.

A brand new remote was delivered today just as promised. I was most impressed with them.
