| AFL Finals - where to watch? Anybody here observant enough to have seen a pub advertising that they will be showing the AFL semi-final match tomorrow night? It's not really a matter of life or death - it's more important than that. The problem is, United are playing Liverpool at the same time, and I fear there's not a publican this side of the equator dumb enough not to have that on their telly. |

| Hi, You can refer to the Aussie forum on this website. I didn't realise Man U is playing Liverpool at the same time. I am keen to watch the GF at a pub too but I know it will be difficult, knowing that the majority of people here know more about football than footy. Actually, you should have no problem getting to see the Grand Final. Since it's a day match, I am pretty sure you'll be able to find it on in a load of pubs, as there won't be any Premier League on at the same time. My post was actually specifically about last week's semi-final between Collingwood and St. Kilda, which was on at the same time as the Wallabies/All-Blekks Tri-Nations decider and the Liverpool/United match. But after Saturday's result, football's over for me this year |
