I agree. Or how about a 'McCain' only option. i.e. no Palin...

It is theoretical after all.

that's assuming that what they tell you in order to get elected is actually what they plan to do once elected...two very different things

I'd vote for McCain with Obama as VP. Otherwise none of the above.
