| This is gossip but i heard from someone I find credible on most issues that a neighbour of Mc Cain's found him to be quite unpleasant and he beat his dog... |

| But, Claire... Dear ole Wallace would NEVER shoot a look SO full of contempt at anyone... like McCain did Obama's way in debate numero 2... (And here's hoping - tomorrow's a new day.) |

| To echo another black dude's famous word...Free at last, free at last, thank god almighty we'll be free at last of Bush, Mc Cain and Palin... Let's see how corrupt and amoral the other side can be for a few years... Can it be possibly worse? |

| The popular vote still is close, but the electoral college vote is showing landslide. One of the ironies is that McCain has won Kentucky - an early reporting state - and every winning since US President since LBJ in 1964 has won that state apparently! Obama might not be perfect but for my money he is a safer pick than a guy whose heroes are mythical figures who did heroic things all by themselves and who has a hair trigger temper. McCain's campaign will go down in history as I said before here as one of the worst disasters since the 1972 McGovern defeat or the Mike Dukakis butt kicking by George Bush, Sr, in 1988. McCain had no message where Obama stuck to his even when he was painted a socialist for telling Joe the Plumber that he wanted to spread the wealth around. McCain's pick of Sarah Palin while appealing to their conservative base pretty much ended any chance to send a clear, concise, and understood message to the struggling American people about what they would do to help the middle class or to end America's belligerence across the world. Today's news shows 19 US states on the brink of recession. Picking a air head over more solid people like Mitt Romney or Tom Ridge or any other semi-competent US leader looked good for a while but for all the wrong reasons. I must admit I ardently looked each evening for Palin news as she was so interesting. But like Alec Baldwin said that doesn't mean I want to see her finger near the nuclear trigger.
