Smile 3 bedroom flats in Tung Chung

Hi,

We are thinking of moving to a 3 bedroom flat in Coastal Skyline, Tung Chung. Does any of you live there now - what do you think of it? And can let me know what you think of the 3 bed units? There are so many to choose from! Thanks all!

Thanks for your reply! We are also looking at a C unit in block 2 - one of those split level ones - is that the same as you? Did you compare these with the 3 brms of Caribbean Coast?

Split level Cs in block 2 have a storage room in low zones, but no storage rooms in high zones. Vice versa for Bs.

If you find something at 15K for them, then it's a good deal. Some are asking 17K.

We are in block 5. Did not choose the split level in block 2 as we have a toddler. the block 2 C units are slightly bigger ones. we decided on CS than CC due to access to MTR, no dogs, less crowded and better fixtures.

We have a toddler as well (who is managing the split level quite well!) and also 5 year old twins. What do you think of the pollution in TC, esp for children? Do you think its any worse than other parts of HK?

Also, I have reserved places at Sunshine House for the twins and am also looking at Sun Island...any views? Does your toddler go to either of these?

The pollution level in TC is no different from the rest of Hong Kong, if not better if compared to crowded areas in HK. People staying in TC is enjoying their stay, and has different view from others that had not stayed in the area.

Sushine House is nice. Sun Island is very handy but it's got Saturday class which we don't want.

Looking for an apartment

Hi there everybody. I've just in HK for past 10 days and starting looking for an aprtment, targeting a 3 bdr in Tung Chung. I visited some apts in CC phase 2 and must say that I'm quite dissapointed with the fittings and size of the bedrooms.

My next option is to look at CC phase 1, which seems a bit bigger and Coastal Skyline or La Rossa. Can anyone tell me the difference between the two? Which block/section should I look for and how much can I expect to pay?

Also, I noted that you mentioned Sunshine and Sun Island as kindergartens, do they teach english, cantonese and mandarin? Where can I visit them?

Thanks for your precious inputs.

some prefer CC, some prefer CS, SVC, TCC. No general rule.

Simply the 3 bdrms are in the range of 13K -18K, wide range of choice.

You'll find Cheung Kong fittings are bad compared to HK Resorts and SHK/Swire.
