Are there any fellow college football (American football, that is) fans out there? With the season about to get underway, I am looking for others who are interested in watching games this fall.

I moved to Hong Kong for work about 2 weeks ago so I have no idea if there is anyway to get a live broadcast or if any of the bars/pubs show the games. If anyone has thoughts on the matter, I'd love to hear them.

As for my allegiance, I'm a Texas A&M fan, but I will watch almost any game that's on - SEC, ACC, Pac10, Big 10 etc.

I am a Pac-10 guy... Trojans and Golden Bears to be exact. I am new to Hong Kong as well, so I am interested in finding out places we can watch college football games.

I'm into all football (american style) so I would def join as well. I've been here about 5 months but haven't experienced any american football seasons yet so it's hard to say where it will be broadcast. The time of the games are usually rough as well. I'll try and find some info and post.

I think you're in trouble. Not much CFB aired in HK. should've hooked up a slingbox before you left home. You can also manage to watch games through sopcast or channelsurfing.net

I'm gettin ESPN and NOW Sports installed today so i'll get back to you guy and see if i get college sports. If no college fb there's got to be some NFL games right? Anyone have any experience here with watching NFL in HK?

Well it appears that we are quickly approaching critical mass. I will call a couple of bars that were mentioned in earlier threads (Amici Bar, and Skitz Bar in Wan Chai) to see if they plan to show games this year and what their past experience has been in gaining access to various games.

Something tells me my slingbox in Chicago won't look very good if put on anything but a normal computer monitor, but if anyone has had luck with displaying a slingbox feed on a TV, let me know.

Had a sling box feed out to a 42" TV and a large projector, no problem.

Don't know how you feel about the Irish, but the Notre Dame alumni club is pretty strong here. They meet up every Sunday afternoon at various bars to watch the game (delayed obviously). You're free to join if you would like.
