I went to the concert. It was terrible. I mean Narah Jones sang well but it's my first time attending concerts here. The concert started at 8pm. She came on stage at 8:10pm maybe.... And crowds were still flowing in full steam all the way till 8:40pm! It was so disruptive!

For me, the experience was totally ruined.

Well, you would have expected an opening / warm up act to go on till 9ish. Or do they not do warm up acts in HK?

Not sure whether they usually do warm up acts in HK, but I can tell you not in the Norah Jones concert I caught. Can anyone tell me whether this is what you would usually expect for the concerts here?

I was thinking of going for REM too. But if the experience is similar, then... I'll rather give it a miss.

The problem is - especially when the concerts are held in the convention center - that they start notoriously late. People just don't bother to be there in time.

Seems to me that it would be a better idea to have a warm-up act AFTER the Norah Jones concert...

yeah, managed to get the tickets...Jones sang well but i agree with u..the crowd streamed in late...probably they were expecting the concert to start late..i dunno..anyways..hard to predict with concerts..
