Question Fashin Courses/Programs in HK

Hello

My cousin wants to look at some courses here in Hong Kong. She wants to know about some Universities, Institutes offering short term Courses in Fashion Design or related field. Course duration can be upto 2 yrs and the language of instruction to be English.

Does anyone have any idea on the same and can suggest some pointers, links?

Thanks a lot in advance!!!

HKAC -> www.hkac.org.hk

if she's an overseas student and wants to study in PolyU better contact AECO, the non-local & exchange office, they might be able to help her out.

http://www.polyu.edu.hk/~aeco

else she could try IVE, what I've heard from my classmates it's in cantonese.

I'd thought Poly U was one of the best design programs in town. Is that not the case?

well, polyu school of design seems to have a very good reputation in asia. as a student of sd i think facilitywise it is very good, but in my opinion the curriculum needs improvement.. unless branding/advertising is your thing, seems to be going that direction lately.

also, even though officially the programme is in english, it is actually half in cantonese. many teachers do not want to speak english just for 1 student (i.e. me).. i've had many electives i had to drop because the teacher simply refused to speak english. they want to be an international university, but i think they still have a long way to go (it is not like this in all departments, but it is in mine).

i've heard good stories about the itc department in poly though..
