Any one know where i can buy a white noise making machine for when we no longer need the aircon on?

If you leave it off for long enough you almost get used to it.

I can make you a noise generator if you really need one though.

Unfortunately we have very noisy neighbours who shower at 20.00 11.30 and 2.30am and the racket is unbelievable. We have had the wall between us soundproofed which has helped a little
and we have ear plugs which i can't use every night as they hurt. We also have a walkway and open space near our apartment where people meet with there barking dogs waking us up at all hours. The white noise helps block a great deal of this out hence the question.

Couldn't you record your existing favourite white noise on replay it on a hifi?

Record it on your laptop and play it with your on your Ipod docking speakers.

I've never heard of this.. Can someone explain it to me? Why do you WANT to replicate the noise of an air conditioner? I can't sleep without earplugs on!
