Hi all,

just wondering does anyone know if they sell authentic UGG boots in HK. In department stores, etc. If they do, how much could I expect to pay for them?

There is nothing authentic about the specific UGG brand. A couple of companies pulled a trademark 'swifty' and then tried to use legal threats against a whole bunch of smaller Australian producers that'd been using the term for decades.

If you want sheepskin boots, go for it. But don't fall for UGGs marketing scams, and don't support such an underhanded company.

Uggs costs something like $150AUD in Australia, I was conned into buying Ughs (how oh how could I have not read the label properly!) at the same price (i.e. 1050HKD and they are just as comfy but I wish I didn't pay as much for them. I agree with the above just buy a comfy pair andpay less than 1000HKD!

BTW isn't it a bit warm in HK for Uggs?

Im afraid to admit i have fallen for the UGG marketing campaign and all the capitalism that go with them. I have two pairs, but they are just so hard wearing. thats why i love them. i have also been conned into buying a pair of snUGGs for the same price and they were not near as good quality. i just wanted to know if they are available and cheap in HK compared to Ireland where you can pay the equivilant of HK2600!!

no never. there so horrible. uggs are honestly handy. so its no on bringin them with me!
