DIY Store for floor wax

I have a few light scuffs and scratches in a new hardwood floor that I wanted to fix. Not very deep, just need some clear wax to cover them.

So where would I go to get something like this? I know there is no Home Depot here, but is there another big hardware store that would have a number of different options, colors, advice? I have a few local guys that have a few products, but I was wondering if there was a good place that would have alot of options?

You're not likely to find a superstore like Home Depot, in Hong Kong. However, you will find several locations where stores of a similar nature are clustered together on the same street.

Where abouts are you located?

I'm in Kennedy Town. Can get around pretty easily. I thought about that street in Mong Kok that has all the flooring, but I think most of that is tile floors.

While there are no B&Os or Home Depots, are there any good hardware stores (decent size and selection) on the Island or over the harbor nearby?

The Causeway Bay end of Lockhart Road has a lot of hardware stores, plus kitchens, bathrooms, lighting, floors, etc. But in the traditional way it is lots of small specialist stores rather than one big superstore. You just need to spend some time wandering up and down the street.

There is a good hardware store on Caine Road.

If you're coming in up the escalator, it is between the Escalator and Elgin Street on Caine Road.

For the record, I ended up finding some floor wax in Welcome. It worked pretty well and was about HK40 or so...

Oh yeah, you can get floor wax at Welcome too.

(Sometimes I forget the obvious answers...)
